Vintage Framed Alexander Wissotzky Poster Print

Wonderful framed poster print on board, by husband and wife artist team Tanya Wissotzky and Alexander Galtchansky. The duo combined their names to create their own name, Alexander Wissotzky. Both born in the Crimea in the late 50s, they met and married in Kiev and began collaborating on their art. 

They used acrylic, pen and ink, and collage to produce art that is reminiscent of 1920's Paris and is both nostalgic and romantic. Tanya died of cancer in 2006 and Alexander passed only a couple years later, in 2008. Their work lives on as a testament to their devotion to and collaboration with one another.
