Vintage Empoli Amber Glass Sculptural Vase

Gorgeous vintage mid century Empoli Glass sculptural vase. Beautiful amber glass that drapes down the sides of the bowl and is highly textured around the mouth of the vase. Textured glass ring is a deep red/purple which doesn’t come through very well in the photos and shows up under black light which may mean it contains cadmium, which creates a glow skin to uranium glass. Made in Italy, this piece was likely originally a decanter with a glass stopper but now would be wonderful as a vase or sculptural decorative piece. Beautiful in the light.
