Vintage Boom Boom Wiz Brooch

Vintage 1989 Boom Boom Wiz ‘Faces in Spaces’ Pin. 

Boom Boom Wiz was a small jewelry business in LA in the 80s and 90s started by artist duo and married couple Hari Grebler and David Wakeam. They initially made all their zany designed pieces by hand, with markers, watercolors, etc. Their work became so in-demand they switched to mass-production, but continued to design every piece. It’s a great story with some very cool artist brains at the center. Here’s an article from 1989 about them:
