The Illustrated Gertrude Jekyll, Colour Schemes for the Flower Garden by Gertrude Jekyll, 1988. Jekyll was a British horticulturalist, garden designer, craftswoman, photographer, writer and artist. She created over 400 gardens in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States and her work helped define the English garden as an art form. Colour Schemes for the Flower Garden was first published in 1908, and is considered one of the most influential gardening books of the 20th century.
